A Jesuit’s Advice

Part of the trouble is that so few who walked out landed anywhere. Frying pan to fire; they left the church and the culture swallowed them whole. It seems better, as a rule, to hang around where one was born, trying as best one may  make it with a few friends, to do what one can in the common life: instead of launching out in the wilds, by and large wilder than the church.
