My name is Andrew Ivers. I’m a freelance editor and have been friends with Mark since he was my teacher at SLU. For the last fifteen years I’ve been reading my way through great works of literature, and last year I decided to take on five major epic poems: the Iliad, the Odyssey, the Aeneid, the Inferno, and Paradise Lost. Now that I’m nearing the end of the project, Mark has asked me to share what the experience has been like.
