Two days ago at the Huwwara Checkpoint
Two Palestinians, Ahmed Saleem and Michael Sabeh,
And a Russian supporter, Al Karamazov,
Were brutally beaten for refusing the orders
Of the IDF soldiers in the area
The Palestinians demanded their human right
To move freely in their own land
But the soldiers blocked them
Then started beating them
At which point Karamazov interposed himself
Between Ahmed and Michael
And the occupation soldiers who escalated the violence
All three were trained in nonviolence
And refused to give up or hit back
They were rushed to a Nablus hospital
Were they were kept overnight
The next day
The bandaged Karamazov was chipper
When he was introduced to Sheikh Omar
And they discussed Sufi practices
And their relevance to the struggle
