In 2020, when everyone was baking sourdough bread, I was signing up for an intro to beekeeping course. By April 2021, I had a hive living on the roof of my house in Washington, DC. In this Share the Wealth, there will be plenty of incredible bee facts, but I’d also love to tell you about some of the things bees have taught me over the past few years.
When she’s not worrying about her bees, Katie Murphy might be found picking up trash, baking, pumping iron, modern dancing, fermenting, caring for community cats, taking too many pictures of her dog, or signing up for a class about something she’s always wanted to learn (up next: pottery?).
