Just got back from a weekend retreat in the mountains where I devoured Dear Layla: Welcome to Palestine.
I’m so grateful for you and your recommendation. There was so much I needed to connect with. I felt so whole flipping through those pages.
At times, I had tears for everything that has been lost, but also, for all that can still be found. The passion I read about set my gut in a frenzy. There is so much I want to give and so much still to learn. My eyes have been opened a little wider.
I loved it all and I wouldn’t have been able to pick a favorite part, until I read “My Good News Is…”. Your community is one filled with strength, selflessness and love. Thank you for making me a part of it.
