Share the Wealth with Robert MacArthur– Military Service & Conscientious Objection: A Personal Perspective

On Sunday, March 20th Robert MacArthur will discuss his journey serving on active duty in the military, wrestling with his conscience for many years and his decision to ultimately leave as a conscientious objector. Attendees are invited to share their own experience with military service, war and perspectives on how we can be instruments of peace with the current war in Ukraine.

Robert attended Saint Louis University from 2002-2007 studying Biomedical Engineering & Theological Studies. He was in AFROTC and commissioned as an officer upon graduation. He served on active duty in the Air Force for five years and ultimately left military service as a conscientious objector.
